MAP-21 reauthorization (S. 2322 plus pending titles from Senate Banking, Commerce and Finance Committees plus House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee and Ways & Means Committee); efforts to mark-up and advance tax extenders bill to include APTA transit priorities; S. 2260 (the "Expiring Provisions Improvement Reform and Efficiency (EXPIRE) Act" - which includes APTA's four transit priorities); monitoring Congressional hearings and Obama Administration statements regardingsolvency of Highway Trust Fund; ongoing support for bills to create "infrastructure banks"; H.R. 5021 - extending Highway Trust Fund statutory provisions; H.R. 4745 and S. 2438 - FY 15 THUD appropriations bills with client advocacy for funding at FY 14 levels or higher; H.R. 5016 - FY 15 Homeland Security appropriations provisions for FEMA State and Local programs providing funding for mass transit security.
