Broadband Infrastructure Deployment - H.R. 3684 (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act). H.R. 5376 (Build Better Act). NOTE: The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act grants billions of dollars to the states or federal agencies for broadband infrastructure, access, and/or affordability programs. The Build Back Better Act could potentially include additional broadband funds allocated to states, to the FCC to enhance affordability programs, or direct to municipalities to support municipal broadband. Lobbying addressed the impact of these proposals to Windstream and our recommendations to encourage widespread participation in broadband programs.
