Monitoring of FY 2022 Federal appropriations and surface transportation reauthorization bill requests for Robertson, Monagle & Eastaugh Alaska local government clients Aleutians East Borough, Kodiak Island Borough, Petersburg Borough, Wrangell Borough, City of Unalaska, City of Kodiak, City of Seward, and City of Whittier. Requests encompass funding for public infrastructure, transportation, harbor, hospital, flood control, sewer & water, community facilities, economic development projects, and Federal land revenue sharing/compensation programs such as PILT, Secure Rural Schools and the National Wildlife Refuge Fund. Tracking and reporting on legislation, as well as agency funding awards and implementation guidance, to address the Covid-19 pandemic, including the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2020, Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the CARES Act,, the COVID relief title of HR 133 -- Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021, and HR 1319, American Rescue Plan Act, with a focus on provisions addressing public health and hospital funding, state, local and tribal government (SALT) relief, local government use of funds, education funding, small business relief, (Paycheck Protection Program & SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans), transportation funding, restaurant relief and fisheries disaster relief. Tracking of Dept of Treasury and other Federal Department/agency implementing guidance and FAQs. Reporting on agency funding awards to local government clients. Monitoring of community project request submissions to the House & Senate Appropriations Committees. Monitoring of comprehensive infrastructure investment legislation (Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, HR 3684 -- Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act) and social "human infrastructure" investment legislation (House Reconciliation Bill -- Build Back Better).
