Worked to educate and engage members of the House Financial Services Committee, Senate Banking Committee, House Small Business Committee, and the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship on the importance of access to responsible financing for small businesses, truth in lending protections, and transparency. RBLC submitted comments and recommendations to the Department of Treasury regarding the design and implementation of the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) recommending that the Department of Treasury implement the SSBCI in a way that promotes access to responsible small business financing for new and existing small businesses. Comment letter submitted on June 4, 2021.
