H.R. 893/S. 405. Heating and Cooling Relief Act - LIHEAP alteration legislation. FY24 Energy, Water & Related Agencies Appropriations Legislation - Supported research and development for natural gas technologies; opposed use of DOE funds for limiting access to natural gas direct use. FY24 Labor-HHS Appropriations Legislation (House Draft/S. 2624 Senate) - Support fully authorized regular LIHEAP funding at $5.1 Billion. H.R. 5793. Water Access Act. Opposing the merging of the Low Income Home Water Assistance program and LIHEAP and/or the funding of both programs in the Labor-HHS Appropriations bill.

Congressional oversight of DOE- Relating to residential furnaces, cooking products rulemakings, natural gas direct use limitations. Discussion Draft- the DOE Appliance and Equipment Standards Reform and Consumer Protection Act- EPCA reform. Discussion Draft - Promoting Efficient and Engaged Reviews (PEER) Act - Permitting reform. S. 1399, Building American Energy Security Act - Permitting reform. S. 1456, Spur Permitting of Underdeveloped Resources Act -Permitting reform. S.1449, Revitalizing the Economy by Simplifying Timelines and Assuring Regulatory Transparency Act - Permitting reform. (Draft), Promoting Efficient and Engaged Reviews (PEER) Act - Permitting reform. Creating a Gas Reliability Organization,- Similar to NERC authority, this concept would set up an independent entity to regulate gas for resilience, reliability, and security, presumably under DOE authority. ENERGY Star- Supporting continued inclusion of natural gas products in the ENERGY Star program. Energy Access- Work relating to continued access to natural gas for direct use. Two Product Classes- work on legislation to establish two separate product classes (condensing and non-condensing) for certain appliances.
