How the Reporter tier works, monetization choices, and what to expect.

Reporter tier is for citizen journalists who publish under their own banner. It ships in months 9-12 post-launch (Phase 1.5) — when it lands, here's what you can do:
- Get your own subdomain at [username].receipts.report - Publish receipts with live, citation-linked Receipts Report charts embedded - Pick per-receipt monetization: free with ads (70/30 Reporter-favorable split) · paid subscription (90/10 split via Stripe Connect) · free with no ads - Use the draft-assist agent — a companion surface that helps you craft receipts in real time (chat on the left, your in-progress receipt on the right, both editable) - Export your subscriber list as CSV any time. Account portability is a permanent commitment — you own your audience.
Reporter tier pricing: $50/mo or $500/yr. The first $50 of platform-take is waived on signup (so if you earn $50/mo in platform fees, the subscription costs nothing).
Every receipt clears a content moderator before going live. The moderator enforces the brand-safety floor (no defamation, harassment, doxxing, calls for violence, NSFW, fabricated claims, deepfakes) and citation discipline. Reporters write in their own voice within the floor — viewpoint-open, including partisan content.
