What the product is, how to navigate it, what to try first.

Receipts Report is a tool for investigating US politics by tracing the money. We've fused eight federal data sources into one connected graph — federal awards, congressional bills and votes, lobbying disclosures, campaign finance, stock trades by members of Congress, earmarks, and the Congressional Record — and every claim links back to the primary government record it came from.
What to try first:
1. Pick a politician you've been hearing about. Search for them or browse /congress/. Their hub page shows their voting record, donors, stock trades, and earmarks in one place.
2. Click any number or chart you see. The citation chip opens the underlying primary source — the FEC filing, the STOCK Act PTR, the USAspending award.
3. Ask the agent a plain-English question. The chat input on the homepage takes anything — "Who funded Senator X this cycle?" / "Which members traded ahead of the Boeing markup?" The agent reasons across the data graph and cites every claim.
